# Welcome to Clarenza

Clarenza turns a deal's documents into an investment memo where every number links back to its source.

Clarenza is a due diligence platform for private equity firms, venture capital funds, and family investment offices. Each opportunity you look at is a **deal**. Add a deal's documents, from your own files or from Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, Notion, or Granola, and Clarenza turns them into a complete investment memo: financial KPIs, valuation scenarios, risks, market context, leadership analysis, an adversarial challenge to its own conclusion, and a recommendation.

What makes that memo usable at an investment committee is that you can check it. Every KPI links back to the exact page and location in the source document it came from: click a number and the source opens, with the figure highlighted on the original page. Financial calculations run on fixed formulas rather than AI text generation, so the arithmetic is deterministic rather than something a model wrote.

## What you can do

* **See what needs you.** [Home](/clarenza.ai-docs/home-and-deals/home.md) lists the memos waiting for review, open questions, mentions, approvals, and documents worth adding, across all your firm's deals.
* **Keep every deal in one list.** [Deals](/clarenza.ai-docs/home-and-deals/deals-list.md) shows each deal with its sector, stage, round, thesis fit, and recommendation. Search, filter, and sort it.
* **Connect your sources.** Import straight from Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, Notion, or Granola, or [upload files](/clarenza.ai-docs/working-with-documents/upload-documents.md) by hand.
* **Generate a memo.** One click runs the full analysis, from extraction through to the recommendation.
* **Verify everything.** Click any KPI or citation to [open its source evidence](/clarenza.ai-docs/the-deal-page/trace-evidence.md).
* **Price the deal.** For buyout, growth and minority deals, the [Pricing](/clarenza.ai-docs/the-deal-page/pricing.md) tab shows what a price means for your returns, from the company's own figures and your firm's assumptions.
* **Collaborate.** Ask questions and leave comments on memo passages, keep [private notes](/clarenza.ai-docs/the-deal-page/notes.md), mention colleagues, sign off, and collect approvals on the decision.
* **Share safely.** [Share a memo](/clarenza.ai-docs/collaboration-and-decisions/share-a-deal.md) with advisers who get read-only access to that memo and nothing else. Partner seats read every deal of the firm, ask, comment and vote on approvals.
* **Stay compliant.** Each memo carries an AI transparency page, reviewer acknowledgments, and a full source register. Processing stays on EU-resident infrastructure.

{% hint style="info" %}
Clarenza is decision-support software. It prepares the analysis; your investment committee makes the decision. Every deal states this explicitly in the AI compliance card on its Decision & Audit tab.
